Guy began working at solicitors in the 1980s. Over a ten-year period it became apparent that while solicitors were adept at handling a vast caseload of often complex legal work, they were at a disadvantage when it came to recovering their legal costs.

 

They had neither the time or requisite expertise to concentrate on arguably one of the most important aspects of any legal practice - recovering and maximising their legal costs.

 

All too often, the task of recovering costs was delegated to a relatively junior staff member, who was inexperienced or simply did not have the time to carry out the task effectively.

Guy's experience enabled him to recognise that the job of recovering legal costs was one that required far more concern.

 

In 1998 Guy graduated in Law and this helped provide the technical understanding of cases that would be passed to Law Costing Ltd in the following years. Combining this technical knowledge with the day-to-day experience obtained previously, Guy has been able to ensure that the services provided by Law Costing Ltd correspond with solicitors' requirements and priorities.

Mike started his career in a local business institution. He went on to work in solicitors firms handling solicitors' accounts and, subsequently, legal costs.

 

During his career, Mike has gained extensive knowledge of solicitors' accounts and legal costs.

 

Mike has a vast amount of technical experience which provides Law Costing Ltd with an extremely valuable asset.

 

On a-day to-day basis, Mike is concerned with ensuring that our teams work closely together and share information in order to benefit each of our clients.
