Guy Platt-Higgins LLB (Hons), Managing Director

Guy began working in the legal profession in the 1980’s. Handling family law, employment law, personal injury and commercial debt cases, Guy has built up an array of useful knowledge and information. In 1998 Guy graduated in law from Liverpool John Moores University. This academic experience combined with prior years of intensive and varied case-handling has placed Guy in good stead to ensure that he and his team can get to grips with any aspect of any case. His commercial experience also guarantees that the entire team at Law Costing Ltd are instilled with commercialism thus ensuring that matters arising are handled skilfully and with pragmatism and professionalism.
Guy oversees the running of Law Costing Ltd and also plays an active part in drafting and negotiating.

Mike Hope, Director


Mike began working in the legal profession in the 1990’s. Mike specialised in solicitors accounts. This background provided Mike with a good understanding of Legal accounts rules and it also provided a valuable insight behind the scenes of law firms.

Whilst being an important part of the management team, Mike remains a key member of our drafting team handling a wide-range of civil matters.

Stacey Branscombe, Director

In 2007 Stacey joined Law Costing Ltd having previously worked in a firm of Chartered Accountants.
Stacey’s accountancy and organisational skills assisted her in role as practice manager and whilst she maintains her own costs caseload, Stacey primary role is maintaining the smooth running of the office and overseeing the teams at Law Costing Ltd.
Client satisfaction is of prime concern to the Company and it is Stacey’s responsibility to ensure that all of the Company’s standards are maintained and constantly reviewed so as to ensure that the service that we offer is second to none.
As a result of Stacey’s exceptional ability, loyalty and commitment, in 2011 she became a Director and maintains her client care, business development and costing roles.
